How to use this
Work down the list until the client's health and budget fit. The order reflects comp and
placement, not a ranking of quality — a client who does not fit carrier one is not a worse
client, they are a different carrier's client. When health knocks out the top of the list,
the underwriting tool will point you at the likely tier, but the carrier's own guide and your
manager settle it.
A starting point for routing a case, not an underwriting decision and not medical advice.
Published guides go stale — newer diabetes drugs, blood thinners, and cancer and COPD therapies
are often missing. If you do not recognize a medication, ask what it is for and check with your
manager. The carrier's guide and application govern.
